Foggers

Water is sprayed in the form of a very fine mist, some of which evaporates before it reaches the bottom of the pen. This absorbs heat from the atmosphere, which has the effect of chilling the birds and maintaining the proper temperature in the pen dwellings. Filters and built-in shut-off valves are included with the foggers to prevent water pouring in between spraying cycles. Before reassembling/recoupling, the foggers can be opened up and their filtering systems and other parts cleaned. The foggers make use of the evaporative cooling process, which is a good approach to prevent heat exhaustion and guarantee a drop in temperature. These characteristics have the power to separate livability from fatality.
